Puseletso Mbele is the Founder and Managing Partner of Sompisi Crescent Investments
Advisory Services, a Johannesburg-based boutique firm focused on private markets
consulting, proxy voting & ESG advisory and capital mobilisation. She brings extensive
experience in institutional investment consulting, having advised pension funds,
endowments, and foundations on portfolio construction, asset allocation, risk
management, and manager research.

Previously, she served as Director and Head of Investment Consulting at Novare Actuaries & Consultants, where she advised eight institutional clients with a combined book value of approximately R130 billion. Her expertise spans investment strategy development, cash flow management, ESG framework design, and private equity
advisory board participation.

She co-founded and led Moruo Private Markets, where she was instrumental in
fundraising, private equity fund strategy, manager research, ESG frameworks, and
stakeholder engagement. Her work has consistently focused on mobilising capital for
South African SMEs and African fund managers, ensuring offerings are institutionally
ready, governance-driven, and investable for global capital.

She holds a BCom in Risk Management from the University of South Africa and has
completed the Applied Directorship Programme through SIRDAR. She also serves as a
Non-Executive Director and as a member of an Investment Committee, contributing to
governance oversight and fiduciary decision-making within the South African investment
landscape.
